Your bike is your pride and joy and we treat it as such. Our experienced mechanics treat all the bikes we service as their own. Like any other machine in order for it to work efficiently it needs to be maintained on a regular basis.

The type of bike you ride and the usage will dictate the frequency of servicing. However, the main thing to remember is that regular maintenance is preferable to emergency repairs for you and your bike.

We recommend that before every ride you give your bike a visual check-over to make sure that there are no loose parts, frayed cables, splits in tyres or obstructions in the wheels. If you are in any doubt or you feel the bike could do with a more stringent inspection and treatment, make a booking with us here at Trailmunki.com for a guaranteed professional service.

Trailmunki.com offers a range of services from a basic Trail service right up to a Full Strip down and rebuild. We can also supply replacement parts at your request or build you your bespoke dream bike.

Please note after your bike service is completed and you have been notified, you have 2 weeks to collect from the store. After this period unless pre arranged your bike will incur a £5 per week storage charge to keep your bike secure and safe. After 3 months we reserve the right to sell off the bike to reclaim any service and parts costs.

Bike check and tune - £39.99

Great if your bike has been in the shed for a while or if you want peace of mind prior to a big ride.

Forks and bike components checked for damage and bolts tightened
Brakes alligned.
Frame, bearings and bushes inspected for excess play or damage.
Gears Alligned.
Tyres inspected and inflated.
Any further work recommended for the future.

General Service - £79.99

Great to have every 6 months to a year dependent on use.

Includes all of the following:

Frame & forks wiped down and checked for alignment
Drivetrain removed, de-greased, cleaned, checked for wear and re-lubricated
Headset checked for free movement and adjusted if required
Bottom Bracket checked for free movement and adjusted if required
Allen bolts checked and tightened to correct torque
External adjustment of all bearings
Lubrication of chain, mechs & cables
Adjustment of brakes and gears
Wheel hubs and rims checked for damage and wear and trued if required
Pump and inspect tyres for wear and tear
Safety check (all fittings / mudguards / racks etc. are securely fastened)
Brakes checked for effective operation and adjusted

Full Service - £94.99

The full service offers you a thorough overhaul, with the aim of restoring your bike to how it worked when it was brand new. It includes all of the following:

Bike stripped down and cleaned, then checked for alignment and damage. All threads cleared and checked.
Hubs disassembled, cleaned, inspected, then rebuilt with fresh grease, refitted & checked for movement
Bottom Bracket removed, cleaned, inspected, then rebuilt with fresh grease, refitted & checked for movement
Headset removed, cleaned, inspected, then rebuilt with fresh grease, refitted & checked for movement
All other fittings removed, checked for wear, cleaned and re-lubricated replacing all cables and housings
Brake blocks / disc pads checked and replaced if required
Replacement of any other worn parts if required
Safety check (all fittings / mudguards / racks etc. are securely fastened)
Chain cleaned and lubricated, gears set up

Suspension Service from £29.99

Not only is suspension a key element of the modern day mountain bike, its also one of the most expensive parts to replace. Suspension servicing is a must to prolong the life of your fork or rear shock.

We provide services from a basic strip clean and replacement of oil, all the way up to custom tuning provided by one of our specialists. Give us a call to discuss your needs.

Parts Fitting and wheel alignment from £15

We offer a range of replacement parts with free fitting on straight fit items such as grips, saddles, pedals and non tubeless tyres. All other Items have a minimum fitting price of £10 rising to £39.99 ph. Check our online shop for our current offers.
